Patio fall level

Hi,
I've had a porcelain patio built by a landscaper, and the fall level is around 1:180 away from the house.
This is less than what I've discovered is the recommended fall level of 1:80
We tested the drainage with a hose, and it does drain, but pools of water sit on the lower half of the slabs.
The pointing has not been done yet so the drainage may be better when it's done - or is this wishful thinking?
Will this fall be sufficient to protect the house, or should we get it redone?
TIA,
Zebs

As long as its not falling into the house its fine.0

You will get ponding with that fall. That's why 1:80 is the minimum. Worse in winter when it freezes. 1:60 is around the max for a patio if you want a table and chairs, although for riven slabs it drains better.1

Drainage will probably get worse after pointing as porcelain slabs are impermeable to water and assuming they've been laid on a full bed and slurried on, the bed should be impermeable too. This means that a non permeable grout is needed else water gets in, freezes and expands and that's bad news0
