Morning everyone
Had a nice lazy day yesterday - little one came up for a couple of hours and had tea - sausage, beans and cheesy mash...snap IzzyBee! She had a good play in her sandpit and I walked round the block with her on her balance bike - she can go really fast on it now and I have to keep shouting to slow down. DD picked her up about half 5 and I sat outside and finished Sunday's paper. Black clouds kept coming over but it didn't rain, though we've had some during the night.
I have my bedding in the wash so hopefully the showers will stay away till I get home from work.
Tesco delivery is due soon - only one sub of more expensive cherries so that's a win!
nmlc - enjoy your time off
Scarlet Ribbons - enjoy your lunch
TA - well spotted re the cat food
Izzy Bee - stick to your guns - your job sounds like hard work! Last time I looked I had 13 years to go....
Camelot - I take all sorts when I visit DD in Germany - last time she wanted one of those telescopic dusters!
Redruby - hope you feel better soon
Oh theres the Tesco knock on the door. Hope everyone has a good day x

Enjoy your leave NmlcI think DB2 is calling this morning, not seen him for a couple of weeks, but now DN has left 6th form he doesn't really need to come this side of town to drop/pick her up.Then this afternoon meant to be calling at DB1s as it's SILs birthday at the weekend.I had a senior moment yesterday - posted my friends Ruby anniversary card, then when I got home said to Dh- oh I can't remember writing the address on - I hadn't! I'd picked up the wrong card , it was stood on the side with SIL's birthday bottle of wine ,so I need to make her a birthday card in case that 1st one doesn't get there. Just been and posted the Anniversary card to my friend! In my defence the envelopes were identicalNeed to get DGD from school, it's not normally one of DS days to have her overnight but her other Grandma is away for a few days & normally takes her to school as her mum doesn't drive. So we need an easy tea- last night breaded fish. There is a pizza DS1 can have,& I might take a portion of beef stew from the freezer as it's not that warm.Right better get on - have good days all x:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'. Hello all, we have variable weather here with sunshine, cloud and rain, it can't seem to make up it's mind what to do today. Yesterday I finished all I had set out to do plus I finally coloured my hair, that task had been pending for a while and boy did it need doing 😲 I look 10 years younger now, Oh I wish !
Today I wanted to go to town as I have a list as long as my arm of an odd assortment of things, plus I need new trainers as mine were so old and tatty that I'm using them in the garden, but Mr Fix It has a delivery arriving which he neglected to tell me about till this morning 🙁 So maybe tomorrow I'll get there but now my plans have been scuppered for today and I have no plan of action. Tea tonight is sorted though and we're having a chicken stir fry. Anyway enough waffling, I'll have another coffee and make a decision.
Camelot have a lovely time away.
Rosy sorry you made me giggle about the card but that's the sort of thing I would do ! 😂
TA glad you found the cat food, phew !
RedRuby hope you feel better soon.
Nels hugs, it must be really hard to sort though the contents of your Mum's house by yourself.
Gers Yea ! to your seating delivery, not long now.
I see there are a few people MIA perhaps you are on holiday, anyway I hope you're all ok.
Right the kettle calls, see you all tomorrow.
Take care and hugs to all.

Hi everyone,
Late one from me. WFH today and I need to get a few bits of shopping after work to take with us on the weekend away with Mum tomorrow. Some chocolate may have to come with us for medicinal purposes (plus wine.....)
I went to a different FC this morning as I'm away this weekend. Lost 0.5lb - pleased with that.
Another 3.5k run this morning - it's not getting easier and apparently you need to run a marathon to lose 1lb - it does boost my mood though.
Hugs going out to Nels - not easy for you at all x
Have a good trip Camelot
Good news about the new sofa etc. Gers - we've put ours back to September as need to decorate still!
Have a good day everyone,

Hi everyone,
Taff, TBH I didn't do it for him but to try to avoid Laura being stressed by the situation. I don't think Brian has quite got his head round that things in the sticks are not the same as London.
Anyway, enough of that, my big news is that the sonographer told Laura that baby is a girl. I'm not letting myself get too excited yet, but I'll be thrilled if it is a girl (I have 4 brothers and was desperate for a girl myself). Obviously if it's a boy it will be just as loved. Chris and Crystal have chosen not to find out the sex although Crystal is convinced she is having a boy, we will see.
Nelski, if I was close I'd offer to come and help you but I'm 200 miles away so I can only offer you my virtual support..
Have a good day.

I'm the only girl in my generation, there's one in the next and a very new one in the present generation. All the rest are boys. I would have been happy to have a sister.
