need help, PCN of Contravention Code 27

hello, I hope somebody can help with this. I have got a parking ticket ( well it says penalty charge notice on the ticket)

from Hillingdon council ( but i guess the council partner with Apcoa)  for being "parked in a special enforcement area adjacent to a dropped footway".
My car just slightly in front of a dropped slope
see photo below

There were no signs, lines, or any other indication of parking restrictions, just a normal  road.

I would like to appeal. Does anybody have any suggestions for the grounds for appeal.

It is illegal to park over a dropped kerb even partially, they don't need signage you should know.
If a blind person uses that every day and this happens it causes problems for a start.
But the place to take this is pepipoo,, we major on private parking charges, but I wouldn't hold your breath.
