Chase Refer a friend payments

In May my daughter used my "refer a friend" code and opened a Chase current account. My daughter received her £20 bonus at beginning of June. However, I have not received my £20 as the other part of the bargain. How long should I wait before contacting Chase? Has anyone else had this problem? I presume the £20 would get paid into my Chase current account.

Have you checked your Rewards wallet? They pay it into there.

Got it! Fab! I have not used Rewards before. If there is anyone as pathetic as me, here is what you do in plain english!  - open app - go to home page - scroll down to bottom of page and tap on "rewards". You learn something every day!

If you haven't used Rewards before, you are missing out on the 1% cashback for most debit card transactions, too. Is that deliberate or an oversight?

Thanks - I have a newish Amex card giving me 5% cashback for first 3 months and I need to get up to £3000 annual spend to qualify for cashback. Three months are up, so will start using Chase debit card for all qualifying spending to get 1% cashback . It will require a change of mindset after always using a cashback credit card where you always have up to your credit limit to spend instantly. I will transfer enough to cover debit card spend for that day from savings to current account in the morning and then transfer back any excess that evening.
