BG Fixed Tariff help?

Hi, a kind member worked out the maths for me comparing staying on the Standard Variable Tariff vs going a BG Fixed Tariff for our household the other day.  We've just received details of the BG Aug23v2 Tariff for my Grandmother's home too.  And I wondered if some one could help me work out the comparison again please?  (I have no idea what sums I need to do for this  :/ ).  She's a frail 95 year old and last year discovered the lowest we could set her heating was 20c before she'd feel cold and shiver (including thermals, blankets, etc).  So obviously we'd like to work out if a fix might be worth it for her.

I have the following figures...

Her total for 2021 (smart meter) was :

Gas: 23559 kWh
Elec: 1581 kWh

Current SVT :

Gas: 7.282p per kWh Unit Rate  /  27.220p per day Standing Charge
Elec: 27.627p per kWh Unit Rate  /  44.750p per day Standing Charge

BG Aug23v2 Fixed Tariff:

Gas: 12.528p per kWh Unit Rate  /  25.576p per day Standing Charge
Elec: 41.496p per kWh Unit Rate  /  34.868p per day Standing Charge

She used 2183 kWh of Gas over Jul/Aug/Sep 2021.   And 394 kWh of Electric over Jul/Aug/Sep 2021.

Many thanks in advance if someone could help!  :)

You are looking at a 59% increase from current SVT.

Already just compared to the predicted new SVT there is hardly any savings (less than £60) per year.
Take into account the £154 (£480 fix - SVT from your July to August use) she has to pay more for July to September, and the predicted decrease in April and it is a big no for me at the current SVT predictions for October.

Thank you for working that out for me!  I didn't think it looked great but wasn't sure - Thanks again!!
