?Santander online banking site message says technical problems

Have been trying to do a transfer online and keep getting same message from Santander..is this a true fact? Has anyone else tried to do transfers over last 24 hrs?

    IIRC the app has been popping up a warning of upcoming overnight maintenance, although can't remember specifics (although it is usually overnight on a weekend)

    I also had this problem early Sunday and it was still happening Monday morning, affecting paying or transferring to an existing payee.

    Technical Helpdesk advised that this was affecting all users, so I suggested that considering this was a pretty serious outage they update their service status.

    I was using Edge under Windows 10 which had had its history, cache and cookies cleared just two days before, however it was an updated new version. I tried Chrome and it was OK!, back to Edge and still a technical problem. Very odd considering Santander using Edge was always reliable and using Chrome often problematic.

    Santander website/payment screen has been temperamental for me for months. It often just times out or gives an error. However just trying again has worked every time so far. 

    This is using Edge on W11.

    Did get thru on the freephone no. and was only hanging on for maybe 5 mins and a friendly polite customer service agent Vicky helped me thru the transfer process... B)  well done Santander
