    Very likely.

    But that's where you win.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

    Okay thanks Coupon-mad

It is my partner who is the registered keeper. She definitely would not want to stand up in court as she suffers with anxiety, although I would be happy to stand up for her.

Although after looking at other threads it would seem that she may not actually have to attend a court hearing, and it can be done remotely by filling in forms?

Absolutely DO NOT allow a hearing to take place on the papers.  She'd lose.

You can lay rep. Please search the forum, saves us repeating everything!

And don't disappear from the forum if this goes quiet, please.

  • Thanks coupon-mad

I've just been reading the forums and the template defence thread.

I do not want to put her through the stress of having to attend a court hearing. Given her anxiety, she would much rather pay the fine than have to go through such an ordeal.

I was wondering whether it would be possible to transfer the liability over to myself and request the PCN to be reissued in my name? I can then either decide to defend myself in court, or even pay the original parking charge?

Sorry this is not what you want to hear, but she would not forgive me if I forced her into a court hearing.

    Yes if you were driving.

Thanks. I think that is the best option.

Should I contact ZZPS or UK CPM? Do you think they will reissue the original PCN or will I have to pay the inflated fine that ZZPS are harassing me for?

    YOU (driver) cannot contact anyone.

Only the registered keeper transfers liability.  The keeper should give your name and address as driver, in writing to both UKCPM and DRPLUS by email.

    info@drpl.co.uk

(THE KEEPER MUST MENTION THE LONG DRP REFERENCE AS WELL AS THE PCN NUMBER)

and copy in the DPO email on UKCPM's 'privacy' webpage.

And...you won't be paying!  Please stop thinking you are going to have to pay. That's not what happens here!

And don't disappear from the forum after this stage please. You and your wife are needed!
