    Hi All,
Thanks again for your help. I'm ready to email my WS today. Just a quick question (don't want to make any silly mistakes). Do I email the copy for the court to the same email address as I sent my defence?

No, because you sent the defence to the CCBC, which is not a court. You must send the WS to the court where the case will be heard, as well as to the claimant's solicitor. This is explained in the 12 step list from the template defence sticky Announcement that you should be following. I suggest you also send a copy to yourself.
I married my cousin. I had to...
    I don't have a sister. :D

Ok, thanks so much. I have been reading the 12 step list but must've somehow missed that part. I can't see an email address on the court correspondence. I have Googled it though and found an address. Thanks again!

It's in the NEWBIES thread section on witness statements.  You hearing Order also tells you which court it came from and they are handling it.

Nothing goes to the CCBC who were only an admin centre; just an initial doorway to get the case out to the local court that you are now getting court Orders from.

    Hi All,

Just wanted to update you and say a very big thank you to everyone who contributes to this forum.

The case was due to be heard back in July, however it was rescheduled. I have now attended and the judge dismissed the claim  I was in and out of there in about 90 seconds. Gladstones had sent a letter to the court stating that they would not be attending but wanted the case to be heard in their absence. The judge said that because I had raised several legal points in my "detailed and well considered" WS that this would need to be argued by the claimant and that he needed to hear arguments from both sides. As they were not present he dismissed the claim.

Thanks again to everyone who helped me. I'm so grateful. This forum is such a fantastic resource for anyone who wants to challenge these unfair parking charges.

Fantastic! Did you ask for your costs?

    Well done you!

And we sincerely hope you are au fait with the need to respond to the final Govt Public Consultation?

Hopefully - amongst all the political disruption - it will be open later this year.

We all need to ram the nail in the coffin of the false £70 'DRA fee' add-on, that actually funds the court claim and toxic CCJ culture, as well as the DRA gaslighting of people.

Just checking you are among those ready to respond to the questions as you have personal experience of how this crap feels?

Please come back here when it opens, and you can make sure you don't miss the Consultation:

Ahhh, I didn't ask for my costs. I think I was so taken aback and relieved that it was so quick that I didn't have time to think. As soon as I left I was like "damn it, I didn't ask for costs". Maybe part of me didn't want to push my luck. Anyway, I'm still happy with the result.

Oh yes, I'll definitely respond to the Govt Pulic Consultation. Yes, this whole things has been stressful and time consuming.

    Thanks again.
