Well it worked for me and like you I am also a gas only customer (ex Zog). The credit + vat (£136.50) was applied to my account overnight.brewerdave said:
Didn't work for me as a gas only customer (ex Zog). I was told that it only applied to dual fuel customers ??The_Green_Hornet said:
If you are only a gas user with EDF then it makes the 30 June 2024 fix a little more tempting as the £130 credit offer negates the £150 early exit fee if things do change for the better next year.sav0 said:you can get £130 off this tariff by using code SVTJUN22OFFER so that should compensate for the difference from the SVT for july/aug/sept1 -
How long did you wait to get the credit in your account from changing to that tariff please?The_Green_Hornet said:

According to the emails I received, I applied for the Fix Total Service Jun24v6 tariff @ 10:42 on Wednesday 29 June and the credit was showing on my account when I checked this morning so it must have been applied overnight.Boohoo said:

So I'm with EDF with gas only, I have worked out my usage I am using around 100kwh per month in the summer, I only have gas boiler combi, I pay my bill every month non direct debit I have more control and it's marginally more expensive per unit. Last months bill at 7.7p a unit plus the dreaded daily charge was £15.95. 78 kWh used. I took the decision to fix and use the offer code. It works out roughly a 55% increase on my unit rate but my daily charge drops to 27p from 32p. My unit is now 11.9p and the credit was added the very next day. They put £136.50 into my account so very pleased with that 👍. I think certainly for the next twelve months the two year fix is worth doing and if I leave after that the £150 exit in effect costs me £13.50p. most importantly I can now sort my financial situation to heat my home in the winter knowing what I have to pay.1
