Working tax credits

Good morning
I have been claiming working tax credits for the last 10 year or so I understand it is due to be replaced by universal credit but for the time being I’m still on it
as part of my entitlement i usually get dental treatment but when I went in today the option for tax credits were no longer on the form
I ticked UC as it was the only one that made sense nobody at the dentist knew but did advise I will be fined if I selected an incorrect box
should I have just paid?

You are entitled to free NHS dental treatment if your annual family income used to work out your tax credits is £15,276 or less and you receive either:
- Child Tax Credit
- Working Tax Credit and Child Tax Credit paid together
- Working Tax Credit including a disability element
If you meet these conditions, you will automatically receive an NHS tax credit exemption certificate.
Do you have an NHS TC exemption certificate? If yes, you should have selected the relevent option, if no you should have paid.
