How do i handle PCN for a rental car
Options

A PCN was sent to the rental company that we hired from for a short term rental.
14 days has elapsed since the date of the notice and the notification from the rental company.
The rental company has advised the people who sent the PCN that the car was on hire and provided the name of the hirer as on the rental agreement.
i have read the newbie thread and am not in any way sure which template to use, what would be the recommendation?
Also, will another PCN be sent to the address and person whose name appeared on the rental agreement and has been passed on by the rental company?
Grateful for any suggestions.

Instruct the hire company in writing not to pay the charge now that they have discharged liability under the PoFA 2012 as you are now dealing with it.
What is the name of the PPC please?
Wait for the NTH to arrive. Whilst you do that, have a look at the appeal letters written by edna basher that you will find in the NEWBIES Announcement. One of them is for fleet managers, so the one you want will be one of the other two.
Post it here if you want confirmation, then send it to the PPC.
Also, familiarise yourself with paragraphs 13 and 14 of Schedule of the PoFA 2012, as this is the part where a PPC normally fails to hold a hirer/lessee liable.

And lease/hire car appeals are covered specially in the NEWBIES thread. Use the one for hire cars.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
