    Hi all,

Just received my Barclaycard after a succesful on line application.

They have given me a £6400 limit, however after calling today to activate my card it has already been closed by the collections dept? What - I only received it yesterday.

There is apparantly a note that the applications department want to ask me a few questions, any idea why this has happened and what they want to ask me?

    Many thanks,
    Matt

What did they say in the end?

It was a wonderful spelling though! At least we all knew what the word was supposed to be and that there were no extra apostrophes!

Perhaps a new thread should be for the 'best' bad spellings of the year.
It made me smile - and I'm not meaning to poke fun - it was just a fab phonetic spelling.

Hehe, sounds like a good thread suggestion :)

    Hi Matt

I had this problem with a different CC company, and it was because I'd just moved house; they opened my account then spent ages working out that I was who I said I was because my name and my address weren't matching on the electoral register at the time!

    Hope you get it sorted!

' <-- See that? It's called an apostrophe. It does not mean "hey, look out, here comes an S".

Dogs return to eat their vomit, just as fools repeat their foolishness. There is no more hope for a fool than for someone who says, "i am really clever!"
