Money disappeared!! Pure planet / mclaren / Shell

I have been paying  money to Pure Planet which hasn’t reached Shell. 

The company managing the debt for Pure Planet do not have the money. 

Shell don’t have the money. 

I had a debt with Mclaren for the outstanding money I owed Pure Planet. They have been harassing me for months but I didn’t speak to them as I believed I was paying Pure Planet the debt. They have not had any money from me. This debt has been wiped by McLaren. I had a formal complaint with them which has been resolved. Emails regarding this are attached. 

I have paid to the pure planet account £498.96 

I was advised to continue paying the Direct Debit so I wouldn’t obtain a large bill from Shell. However I did receive a large bill from Shell.   I need this money back to pay the bill I have with Shell. 

McLaren Services have confirmed they have passed this to the auditors but are unable to send me the contact details. 

I don’t know where my money is and don’t know what to do!!! My bank said this isn’t fraud as it’s an official account. They said it is an admin problem!?!

So did you have a debt with Pure Planet and they used your direct debit to pay off the debt instead of using it as a payment towards your energy bill with Shell?

How much was the outstanding debt? Was it more or less than the £498.96 you paid in direct debit?

What was your formal complaint about?

The debt was less 

The statement from pure planet they had showed the entire debt with nothing paid (the debt was £400) they said no money had been paid against that debt. I had to send them all the statements. 

McLaren said they had received no money against the debt at all.

The complaint was mainly about harassment, not dealing with debt, not acknowledging money debt. The bad reduced the debt to about £160 but the company said that due to complaint they was writing off the debt.

Did you get in writing that they have written off the debt?

Who is they - McLaren or Pure Planet/administrators?

Have you received a final bill from Pure Planet and if so are the DD payments on the bill?

Mclaren have written off the debt, I have it in writing (in an email) they are the debt collectors for pure planet) 

I had a final bill but it was dated when the company went bust (October, before the DD’s I’m questioning)
