This grew from some compost that I bought. Can anyone tell me what it is? I thought it was going to be a cucumber plant as the leaves are pretty much the same.
Loved our trip to the West Coast USA. Death Valley is the place to go!

It looks like a type of marrow or courgette. They come in all shapes and sizes.
Tricky to bake a round one though.
I've found the new sorts more tender as flavoursome.
