Shell Energy customers - are you getting Shell fuel discount?

For those of you who have your energy with Shell and also fuel up at Shell, are you receiving your 3% discount or not?

I wasn't even aware it was a thing until a few fill ups ago. Wondered what this discount was until I looked in to it. I'd been filling up at Texaco usually at the time but then decided to make the switch to going back to Shell.

In the 3-4 fill ups since that, they've failed to give me the discount automatically even though it's still showing as a perk in the app. I've had to get the discount via submitting a complaint.

Just wondered if others were automatically getting the discount or not.

Yes I'm getting the discount. It's not automatic you have to have the barcode within the app scanned by the cashier or set up pay at pump via the app

When I was with Shell Energy I didn't bother. Supermarket fuel was cheaper and it was too much faff

Genuinely not sure what you're saying.

I don't expect them to know I'm a Shell Energy customer just from looking at me. I open the app, hit my card & they scan it - like the time that it worked.

Nearest supermarket station is about 5-10 minutes out of my way for 2p per litre less. Not worth it to me & I have no need to go that side of town for anything else.

I just pick the cheapest fuel on my route which is basically a choice between Shell (2 stations), BP & Texaco. BP & 1 of the Shell stations will always be the same price as they're owned by the same people.
