Ticketmaster re-sales

I purchased tickets via Ticketmaster for a concert which I then couldn't attend due to ill health. I listed my tickets for re-sale on the Ticketmaster website and was informed on 2 June that my tickets had been sold and the funds would be in my bank account within 10 - 15 business days. This date has been and gone, so I contacted Ticketmaster via their website and was told that they had recently 'changed our payment process' which 'created an unprecedented workload' but that payment 'should be in the next 5 days'.
I wasn't really satisfied this, so replied, pointing out that they had now been paid twice for the same tickets, for a concert that took place some time ago. I also felt they shouldn't say payment would be made within a certain timescale if they knew they couldn't fulfil this. I have received another response today advising that payment will be made within 10 days. I am losing faith that I will ever be paid this money. There seems to be little I can do, Ticketmaster seem to be another organisation making it increasingly difficult to contact them. I'd be grateful for any advice.
Thank you.

Thank you.15 business days from the 2nd of June takes you to the 23rd June - So it's only 1 business day late at the moment.0 -
Given the jubilee holiday on the 3rd, the 15th business day was the 24th, so even less of an overrun!powerful_Rogue said:

Advice? Sit tight and wait. Given they're only slightly late, it's way too soon to consider any other action.0

Ticketmaster can be frustrating to deal with - they're not exactly renowned for the excellent customer service - but they're generally not in the business of just stealing people's money, so you should get it back eventually.RMR said:I purchased tickets via Ticketmaster for a concert which I then couldn't attend due to ill health. I'll admit I'd completely forgotten 2nd & 3rd were bank holidays. I still don't think it's a good practice, they've been paid twice for an event that has already taken place, but I appreciate your points, it's only very slightly late. I just don't feel reassured by the email today saying it will be paid within 10 days. I will wait and trust that it will appear! Thank you for your comments.0
