Hi all, looking for some advice please.
I bought my car 2nd hand from a dealership in November 2021 the car came with 3 months warranty, on the journey home I noticed the car was crunching in 4th and 6th, I notified the garage the same day.

Car went back on the 26th Jan 2022 where it had a clutch change and was told this sorted the issue, this did not sort the issue and I had to take the car back in feb 2022 where they changed the gear selector, this also didn’t sort the issue, the car is now going back again as it crunches from 2nd all the way through to 6th, the garage are still doing this under warranty as I had notified them of the issue before the warranty run out.
where do I stand on a replacement vehicle?
where do I stand on a replacement vehicle?
I bought the car for £7k and have lost a lot of money from time off work having to take it back! I don’t want the car back and would prefer an exchange instead.
where do I stand with this? Technically they were notified of the fault within 30 days and definitely within 6 months but where I’ve left them keep attempting to repair it, it’s now been 7 months.
thank you in advance for any help.

To me it seems very strange that a garage would do something as expensive as a clutch change on warranty without checking it fixed the issue. Are you sure they are doing anything at all? What kind of a garage is this?0

I thought the same if I’m honest, but I took their word for it, the garage works along side the dealership I purchased the vehicle from. It drives worse then before the “clutch change” so I’m not sure where to go from here. I don’t want the car returned0

Were the crunching gears noticeable on the test drive? Seems odd if not, but then noticed on the drive home.0
