Located in the walled gardens and ancient orchard of the beautiful Wormsley Estate, guests tuck into a nine course (nine!) gourmet tasting menu, all served in vintage wicker baskets, with hand-crafted balloons stretching out above. That’s right: decorative, heated, and fully-covered hot air balloons to eat in. Isn’t that cool?! A tasting menu brought to new heights without actually leaving the ground…

We’re giving one lucky Muddy reader the chance to win SIX tickets to Feast on Cloud 9 so you and five friends or family could be the ones to enjoy this unique, indulgent dining opportunity, usually worth £750, for FREE!

The food is beautiful, high-brow stuff (how does lobster en croute sound?), and bears the characteristic spin of Feast Events creativity, such as on-theme edible clouds. Plus where possible, the menu uses produce grown by the Wormsley gardening team – a big tick for Muddy.

For the experience, you’ll be greeted with a welcome drink and canapés and a chance to explore the stunning walled gardens, which date back to the 1700s and have been designed as four contrasting ‘outdoor rooms’. There will be live music and the chance to play croquet on the lawn. Very refined! Then, you’ll be led through to the apple orchard to see wildflowers, ancient trees, and the jaw-dropping ten balloons to dine in. Sit back, revel in the surroundings, and tuck into the food.

  • Evening sittings are available to book every Thursday, Friday and Saturday evening between 4- 27 August inclusive. Each sitting runs from 7pm (welcome drink, time to enjoy the gardens and entertainment) with dinner served in the balloon baskets in the Orchard from 7.45 / 8pm. Please note that evening sittings are adults only.
  • Lunchtime sittings are family-friendly and available to book every Saturday & Sunday throughout August from 6-28 August inclusive. Each lunchtime event runs from 12 noon (arrival) with lunch served in the balloon baskets in the Orchard from 12.45pm.
  • Any special dietary requirements can be catered for upon request.
