I would suggest that if they are reporting the correct info to the CRA’s and the balances of your creditors accounts are now all zero and showing as settled/satisfied then I would suggest all is ok?If you believe you can, you will. If you believe you can't, you won't.
Secured/Unsecured loans x 1
Credit Cards x 8 (total limit £55,050)
Creation FS Retail Account x 1
Creation Credit Sale 0% x 1 = £112.50pm x 20 mths
0% Overdraft x 1 (£0 / £250)
Mortgage Outstanding - £137,707.00 (Payment 13/360)
Total Debt = £7,400 (0%APR) @ £100pm - Stoozing0 -
Thats the thing, not all of the balances are zero. I have one new credit card and of course the sprout loan and those should be the only things on there with balances but I have 3 other loans on there that should be gone by now.0

Have you received your ‘certificate of completion’ from the IVA company, send this to the creditors with a covering letter that it was your understanding that funds should have been distributed by your IP and all accounts settled in full leaving a zero balance?
Perhaps contact your IVA firm to establish what they have / haven’t done? Who was your IVA with?If you believe you can, you will. If you believe you can't, you won't.

Yep, received the certificate of completion. Think this will have to be my next move, most have cleared to zero balances but it's the three lingering that's bothering me.
My IVA was with Debt Movement (previously Jarvis Insolvency, previously Aperture Debt Solutions)0 -
I really can sympathise with your situation, you’re so far down the line and finally released from the shackles of the IVA and now, several months later you have to deal with the emotion of getting back in touch with ‘old’ creditors whom in reality you probably wish to have absolutely no dealings with again.
Fingers crossed that it gets sorted swiftly.
Things I did and checked upon F&F offer and IVA completion;
- Applied to Sprout loans for provisional acceptance (they recorded 2 x hard searches within 7 days of eachother)
- Approached CreditFix with an F&F offer, 1st was refused, 2nd was accepted
- I had the chairman’s report from variation meeting with creditors to confirm acceptance of F&F (CreditFix was company) so kept copy and forwarded to Sprout
- Sprout accepted my application, the chairman’s report and held the funds for 14 days as their ‘cooling off period’ prior to directly transferring to CreditFix
- Chased CreditFix up and finally after 4 months got a rather underwhelming looking ‘completion certificate’ through (October 2021)
- Logged in to all 3 brokers of CRA’s and checked to make sure that all creditors that were part of the IVA showed a default date of start of IVA and that the creditors who bought the debt from the original creditors where showing correct dates of completion
- Checked that all showed satisfied/settled
- checked the insolvency register 3 months after discharge date that I had been removed
- Disputed several dates across all 3 CRA’s to ensure that they all drop off exactly 6 years from the original date of IVA. At the moment, I am STILL arguing with PayPal on this one, all the others have either got it correct from the off or have amended their data
The only thing i haven’t done is a change of address to the old creditors who, the accounts are now all settled and balance as zero as to be quite frank I believe it is irrelevant and I do not wish to speak to them.
You could try to raise a dispute via your IVA company Debt Movement first and work from there perhaps? If you believe you can, you will. If you believe you can't, you won't.

Just keep in mind that some creditors are notoriously lax when it comes to updating credit reports following an insolvency, it could just be that they haven`t got around to it as yet.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards.
