New fixed deal from Eon Next, worth the plunge?

The above has no exit fees.

I am currently on the Eon variable rate.

Just thinking about coming price increase in October and whether the above offer will be worth it?

They seem to think you're a very light user, especially of gas. Are those estimates realistic?
For your predicted usage, that fix is coming in at £1246 a year.
On the current capped variable tariff, it would be about £959 - so the fix is a 31% increase. This seems low because a good part of your bill is made up of standing charges, which aren't changing by much if at all.

Not the worse rates being offered and with the zero exit fees not a rip off come October you can review.

Also good to note is Eon often let you delay the deal, if you phone them up they may delay it coming in til 1st August👍
