Existing BG customer - no tariff with off peak rates for EV charging?
I'm an existing BG customer, moved over from Peoples Energy. Current electricity cost is 28.4p per kwh. The only fixed tariff being offered is 41p per kWh with no off peak rates even though I ticked EV owner. Is this a case of needing to phone to get sight of other tariffs?

Do you have a smart meter?
BG has issues with smart meter and E7, so I assume they will not offer you E7.0 -
BG due to introduce EV tariff Late this year or early next year according to their website.1

Octopus Go/Go Faster/Intelligent are the only sensible EV tariffs available at the moment; all others have punitive peak rates, exit fees and/or mandatory extortionate gas rates.0
