Wallpaper or paint?

I actually prefer to wallpaper than paint. Recently wallpapered my spare bedroom in a weekend. As above make sure you get the first length straight and mark out the widths on the wall so you don’t get a very narrow strip at one end.1

Prefer papering to painting? Madman.
I hate papering with a passion. Painting is boring too but I trust no one else to do it, I judge people by their DIY and I'm not having mates come near my house to help.
You'll be sat in a mates front room waiting for them to make the tea, realising their skirtings are full of brushmarks and their cutting in looks like it was done by Stevie wonder with his feet. Sad but true.
Might rope one in to make the tea "Yeah go on mate, you make better tea than me"0 -
I absolutely hate painting and would wallpaper as preference every time where papering is practical. Each to their own.

For a high-standard look, I'd go for peel and stick wallpaper. It’s easy to apply and replace, plus it comes in tons of stylish designs, including textured options. It’s perfect if your painted walls aren’t holding up well. You'll love the transformation!

NECRO POSTING alert.Self adhesive wallpaper - Sounds like 1970s Fablon..... It was naff in the hands of Valerie Singleton, and is still naff today. Yes, stick & peel wallpaper sounds quick and easy, but it doesn't stay up long. If you are going to the effort & expense of wallpapering a wall, do it properly. Her courage will change the world.
Treasure the moments that you have. Savour them for as long as you can for they will never come back again.0
