Electrical or Ariel problem?

LED lights are generally low voltage so could a problem with the transformer be the cause of 'noise' and interference?

LEDs can have the mains to DC gubbins in the lamp base (GU10, BC, ES, SES etc.,.)TELLIT01 said:LED lights are generally low voltage so could a problem with the transformer be the cause of 'noise' and interference?
OR
can use LED driver 'boxes' containing the gubbins
OR
have almost nothing inside for use on simple12V ac transformers in situ from old incandescent 12V lamps {those can give trouble - flickering etc.,. - if the LED load is too low cf the transformer rating}
The first two will have RF interference suppressors built into the 'gubbins'.
The last probably wont.
Poor connections (mains or lower voltages) can arc as can switches, and rarely faulty transformer windings; sparking (arcing) electricity is how Marconi started radio transmitting after all.1 -
Rodders53 seems to have given a good set of answers about finding of it's bulbs or fan causing the problem.
My only additional question (as a stretching the bounds of likelihood possibility) is whether you've had any plumbing work done in the last couple of weeks, and if so were any lengths of copper pipe replaced with plastic?1 -
I'd make that a 'should'. Online marketplaces have resulted in there being a lot of cheap junk around which doesn't do what it says on the label.Rodders53 said:

Everything has to be suspected until the problem is eliminated.1
