Issue with electricity supplier not contacting us prior to "planned" works.
Hi all,
Our local network (ENWL) seams incapable of sending out letters to tell us of poewr cuts.
The issue stems from from storm Arwen compensation where, according to them, we didn't exist. No-one knows why we were deleted from there systems but we supplied all the data such as MPAN, meter serial number and eventually we got this resolved.
Post the storm we have had lots of planned power cuts, some small, some longer, which none have had any form of notification.
In march, we had a 'planned' power cut for ~12 hours without notification for which took weeks to get the compensation out of them as they lacked the "MPAN" or serial numbers for our meter. Magically they had lost the data so we provided it again.
Today, our power has been off for ~4 hours but the outage was planned for ~9 hours. Obviously (!) we didn't get any notifiation and ENWL is going to send is out more compensation for the issue. The problem is they have again "lost" the "MPAN" and serial number.
Anyone got any ideas how to get this resolved? Or, is ENWL just paying the £40 becasue it is easier for them.
