Act quick to secure the fixes if they appeal to you across all suppliers.

If your deal disappears online then get on the phone and see if they will still honour previous deals offered.

He/she who asks.......wins👍👍

Good luck out there everyone.

One other advice and not just for BG deals.

When you see a deal that is available to you and even looks sensible, check if there is a cooling off period and if there is take the deal.

Once you have secured it you have 2 weeks to ask for advice and and consider if it makes sense for you.

As @Mstty said there are a lot of posts from people who took time to think through forward and backward, and suddenly the deals were withdrawn after the latest increase in the predicted cap. Even if they tell you a deal will be available until the end of a month, they might still withdraw it early, if it makes no longer financial sense or the allocated contingent is sold out.

... and he/she who checks again a few days later to make sure the tariff really has changed on the account, will be sure they have won:)

BG have a long track record of saying 'yes' when they really mean 'yes I'll ask someone else if it can be done' and then they don't tell you if the answer was 'no'.

Do try to do it via chat and do keep the chat log.

Yes, was on chat with them last night to see if I could get an email fix that has now ended. They said they would have to refer to colleague and heard nothing since!

For anybody whose current BG tariff is about to end, it may be worth trying to choose a new tariff via a "sign me up" link in a BG email.
As an ex-Neon Reef customer, my "Welcome to BG" tariff ends on 31 July (when the default is to be moved to (the identically priced) "Standard Variable" tariff).
They sent me an email, with subject "Your current energy plan is ending soon", on 21 June, offering the "Loyalty Jul 23v1" tariff, with one way to select it being a "sign me up" link. It said that if I clicked the link before 1 July, then I would be switched to Loyalty Jul 23v1 at the end of July.
I clicked the link a few minutes ago, and immediately got a confirmation email.
    Good info👍👍

I have posted this before but similarly I had to come off my 'welcome' EDF tariff to a regular variable EDF tariff to be able to fix.  Anyone can do this at anytime, there's no need to wait when you may be missing a fix you'd like to take.
