Our buyer had asked a few questions via our EA but it was always just a quick short call from our EA to us. We never answered anything in writing to our buyer via our EA. Can’t remember exactly what those questions were but they were trivial. Anything we answered in writing (e-mail) was through our solicitor. Our solicitor would answer anything she could then send us questions she couldn’t answer. So anything that’s in one of the many forms we filled out would be answered by our solicitor.
Even though we filled out the forms ourselves, a lot of information were from what the previous owner answered on their forms when we purchased the property and we had to look them up. I would hate to have to go through all the filled forms to find answers myself.
I believe a lot of the questions they asked you via your EA are things that either your solicitor will be able to answer (like boundaries) or things that they should ask their surveyor (broken fences) if they have one.0 -
We asked a few questions and they could not be answered but we went ahead an bought as in the scheme of things we were prepared to take risk0

it may be that the surveyor's report flagged up something that they may need to look into, which surveyors will do to cover their own back, and the buyer has decided to ask me the questions instead.
he is not a first time buyer so he is not new to this game, which is why i am a bit puzzled about the questions he had asked. for example, there are not even any fences at the property! just some decor wooden railing infill to the front garden wall.0
