Car Insurance Renewal Quote - How early to expect Quote Email from Hastings Direct?

My Car Insurance expires on 15/07/2022 - Just find a bit strange this year that I have not been quoted yet (as at today 22/06/2022) for next Year's Price
Logged in to Hastings Direct > My Account and nothing there except the current one which expires on 15/07/2022.
Usually in past, I have seen the quote arrive 4 weeks in advance!
Yearly I go to comparison websites on the dot, 4 weeks in advance after seeing the existing insurers quote first. I guess I have to not wait and just do the compare now anyway.

Only asking here if anyone else has this delay from Hastings and see if they've changed any tactics on purpose?

Have you tried live chatting them on the app? When I was insured with them previously I did this every time 30 days before. Not sure if its changed now though as I know Admiral only give you the renewal quote 21 days before not 30 days like they did previously

Hi, yes, I'm with Hastings and they usually send an email notification of renewal a month beforehand.

You could always phone them, which I prefer to do when the renewal notice comes anyway and then haggle for a new price as their renewal quote is usually far too high.

As you haven't had a renewal notice when you were expecting one, I don't think it would be unacceptable for you to contact them.

I did not contact Hastings but yes they did actually send me the NEW QUOTE eventually on yesterday 24th June.. so all sorted..
Just for anyone curious, the new price is quoted as £18 LESS compared to last year's. The car insurance cost amount is close to approx £500.
Thanks for all your suggestions here..
