Insulation question for a single skin wall?

Afternoon all,
I'm looking for a way to insulation a room with a single skin without having to build a new insider wall.
The room will be a recording studio and it's tiny. If we have to build a new internal wall it'll reduce the space too much.
So, would this work.
Fix against the existing wall the insulation slabs that normally go between the inter and outer brick wall, then palsterboard and then acoustic foam? Will that make the place worm enough to use in the winter (with a heater, of course).
Or, is there a better way??
Thanks...

I'd probably batten out, vapour barrier then insulated plasterboard to the battens.
Warm enough in winter? Depends on the rest of it and how thick the insulated board you're using is.

Single skin (~100mm), or double brick (~220mm) ?Currently insulating some solid brick walls here. Using Kingspan insulation boards fixed to the walls with battens. Joints taped with aluminium foil, and then finished off with plasterboard. Picture of one wall before plasterboard goes on..Loose about 75mm of floor space per external wall, but that isn't really noticeable. Makes a big difference in heating the space and keeping it warm.If your walls really are only ~100mm thick, then you'd need an air gap (say 25mm) and quite a bit more insulation to meet Building Regulation targets. But even if you only get 50mm on the walls, it will make a big difference. Her courage will change the world.
Treasure the moments that you have. Savour them for as long as you can for they will never come back again.1
