Blinds for flat roof conservatory

Our conservatory has a flat acrylic panel roof. Trying to find some options for blinds to cover them to keep out the sun. There are companies who will manufacture you something but it’s cheaper to move house. 

Just wondering if there’s any suggestions ( sensible please ) from anyone. 

Four panels 1 metre wide and 2.35 metres long.

Have you looked for local companies rather than the nationals who you'll see advertising in the glossy mags and on TV.  The blinds aren't cheap as they are all made to measure, and roof blinds will need runners or some other form of support to prevent them from sagging.

3 poles per panel (one in the middle one each end) and a strip of lightweight fabric to act as a shade. I would probably secure the rods with  couple of screws each side, but depending on the panels and if truly lightweight fabric they may hold with just the tension fitting.

If you have an access to a sewing machine (or a friend with one) it would be a simple job to sew three channels in the fabric strip for the rods. 

Then multiply by 4 for the other panels.
