Despite having a terrible business model (which is why they went under) and them being very economical with the truth around renewables, sticking with Bulb is probably the only option at the moment. They are shockingly awful, but at least the lights still come on at the moment! I switched to monthly variable direct debit so they don't get to hoard my money. It was a gamble, but is paying off as the almost £200 I am not giving them each month is building up in my bank account to insulate for the eye watering winter bills that I fully expect in a few months time.0

Bear in mind that if you go on to your online account and click on payments and statements, you have the option to reduce your d/d.
Mine at the moment shows a d/d of £104.01 and the account £34 in debit. But it will still allow me to reduce the d/d to £93.230 -
