Moved out & closed account, but moved back in
Hi All
I moved out of my house due to a r/ship split, but in the meantime my ex and I have agreed to co-habit during the house sale process.
I don't know what to do regarding the energy now - the british gas site just shows my account as closed with no option to reopen (I can't get hold of their support as it's 2 hour waits and I'm at work)
Any tips?
Should my ex just try to sign up somewhere new & take over the bills?

You need to open the account with BG again as they are the existing supplier and you are not allowed to use another supplier initially.
The moment you move dback in you became a BG customer again on their deemed tariff.
If your ex wants to take over the bills he still needs to do this BG.0
