I had curryscloudbackup for quite a few years and is really simple to use.
I basically takes a mirror of your drive and stores on a cloud. You can access from the internet so I can retrieve info when I'm at work if I want. It also backs up my phone.
I get 2tb, but only use around 15gb. It costs £50 a year!
I have this as I sometimes work for myself and going back to old info sometimes saves me time, and also when I was at uni my hard drive bust and lost alot of work and photos.
The cost is pretty high and consdering using dropbox and manually moving folders, over, but wondered if anyone has encountered a cheaper system to the currys one that they could recomend?

There is no way I would trust Curry's to store my data, I do not even trust them to sell me anything.6 -
Google Drive gives you 15GB free (as mentioned above) or for just £1.59 per month / £15.99 per annum, you can get 100GB.
I wouldn't trust Currys either!

Paid-for Google Drive (or Google One as it is badged) working well here, shared across two users. 2 Windows laptops (running Drive app), a Chromebook, couple of tablets and 3 mobiles all syncing OK.1

Buy an external backup drive. Cheaper and faster and you can backup the entire PC and restore it if easily. Not so easy with
a cloud backup and a non functioning PC.
I wouldn't trust most of the cloud services either, they have a habit of changing hands and the new management see £ signs.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...1
