Three Mobile

Hi guys, a few weeks ago I had a letter from Three stating my sim plan monthly bill was changing from £12 per month to £29!

I got straight onto them and informed them I was leaving after sticking with them for 10 years, To keep me they promised to reduce my bill to £12 per month. As I was a loyal customer.

This months bill landed a couple of days ago and I’ve been charged £29, minimum term of 12 month.

I have it in writing what I was promised. And have been in touch a number of times, the last time they said they would pass it to billing to investigate and adjust my bill. So today I got s text, you bill has been adjusted. Please log in to pay.

As soon as I log in, the bill is still showing I owe £29. I know there was a cooling off period of 14 days, and I was told my bill would be reduced to £12 per month. I think I may have passed the 14 day period. Can I still request the contract is cancelled on the grounds they have not honoured the promise that I have in writing?

Are you sure there was a cooling off period?  They normally don't apply for contract renewals.

I'd keep on at them, I suspect their systems are behind.  You'll probably get the £17 back eventually.  If you have a new contract in writing that says £12 but they're now charging you £29 then yes you can cancel it, providing you've met your side of the contract.
