I opened a RBS digital regular saver in march (2022). Been paying £50 using standing order (SO)
Just seen on their website that maximum payin is £150. But is this for accounts opened now? I mean would it apply for accounts opened in March?
I know NatWest increased in a few months ago and sent an email out notifying customers. I don't appear to have a similar email from RBS

The max for RBS is £150, incl for existing accounts. There is no distinction in the T&Cs, or in the processing, between old and new accounts.
There appears to be a slight issue with notifications, not just for the RS, if you choose to use the same email address for both, your Natwest and your RBS accounts. Notifications get only sent once per email address. If you wish to receive (the same) notifications for each of your accounts, you have to use two different email addresses. The joys of multiple accounts, eh.1 -
I have different email addresses for the NatWest and RBS accounts. Still didn't receive anything from RBS about this. Only from NatWest.Daliah said:The max for RBS is £150, incl for existing accounts. There is no distinction in the T&Cs, or in the processing, between old and new accounts.

I have the same email address and I get notifications from both of them. I just take it in turns to open one, next time I open it from the other, avoids any risk of either of them thinking there's an issue and I'm not reading anything.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.0

I saw it on here a while back and increased accordingly.
Will now cease to deposit after 1 July as will hit the maximum £1000 that qualifies for interest.0 -
Did you receive an email from RBS about the increase to maximum monthly deposit amount from £50 to £150? Of course, if you opened the account recently then you would've seen the maximum of £150 at the time of account opening so no email would've been necessary to notify you.MovingForwards said:I have the same email address and I get notifications from both of them. Btw, are you sure RBS and NatWest track if their customers open their emails? Doubt it!0 -
Apologies. I DID receive an email from RBS too. It was sent out on 16 March 2022 titled 'Changes to your savings account'. I seem to have missed it in the email deluge. Need to put some email filters in placeOceanSound said:
