To enter the competition, entrants must phone into Radio 1 when they hear a ‘cue to call’, which will be a track by an artist on the Glastonbury Festival line-up, with a message at the start announcing ‘lines are open’. From this moment, entrants will then have a 15 minute window to register for the competition. Entrants will need to convince the Radio 1 phone operators why they should be coming to Glastonbury Festival. The Radio 1 phone operators will ask each entrant two questions and score each answer out of 5, for an overall score out of 10. The two questions are:

Who are you most excited to see at Glastonbury and why?

Who would you like to take with you, and why should it be you guys?

3. The entrant with the highest overall score will come on air to play a ‘name the artist’ music quiz for a chance to win 2 (two) tickets to Glastonbury Festival. A number of back-up contestants will be selected for contingency purposes.

4. Registration to take part in the competition is only available by using the following method:
by phoning 03700 100 100 during the 15 minute registration window described above. Standard geographic call charges apply. No other method of entry will be accepted.

5. In the ‘name the artist’ music quiz the entrant will have to identify the artist in a short song clip, and will have 5 (five) seconds to answer. If the entrant answers correctly, they will win 2 (two) tickets to Glastonbury Festival. If the first entrant gets the answer wrong, the back-up contestant with the next highest score will brought on-air to try and identify a different music clip. This will continue until one entrant correctly identifies a music clip and wins the prize.

6. Winners are excluded from subsequent rounds of the competition, but entrants who do not win may enter subsequent rounds.

8. Each entrant must enter the competition on their own behalf, and register using their own phone. The BBC reserves the right to disqualify any entrant.

9. The BBC's decision as to entrants and winners is final. No correspondence relating to the competition will be entered into.

10. Winners agree to take part in any post-competition publicity if required.
