External Door — Weather Bar?

Hi all,
Our front door has, what I think is called, a “weather bar”? The front door sits under a nice portion of soffit, so never gets hit by rain. Photo with my hand in.
However, our side kitchen door has no weather bar, and the seal is trash (probably needs replacing). Usually not a problem, but as we’re soon to be having a reroof, the car port roof which would cover the side door from rain, needs to come off. Other photo.
What is this bar called (so I can go and buy one and whack it on)? And, will that, and a new seal, fully prevent water from getting in the door?
I’m not sure either of these doors are actually “external” doors… but don’t really know!
Thanks in advance.

Threshold bar?? I know what you mean, my door has one but I'd have to get out the invoice to see what they called it!0

I think their called "Drip bars"

With a new seal it SHOULD be watertight - you may need to see how "Tight" the door closes in the frame though, they can shift over time and you might need to make some adjustments to the hinges (most are adjustable) to get a tight, even seal when the door is closed.1 -
Thanks pmartin86!
The prize is in the link you provided! They’re called “rain deflectors”! Thank you!1 -
Glad to have helped...even it indirectly!1
