Mapfre gap insurance
Hi
So we picked up our new car yesterday and the dealership told us to email an address that is on some paper work.
I sent that email via my husbands email account. He has an response saying that there is some refund due. They are asking for his name on the bank account sort code and account number.
I'm sure it is fine but he is skeptical as they want these details via email. He is worried that they are a scam.
Can someone reassure him.
Thank you

Not without seeing the paperwork that he got the email address off or the content of the email received etc... its fairly unlikely that a dealership (assuming mainstream) would actively encourage you to do something that was a scam but the emails may be unrelated or it may not be a scam but just something ill advised0
