Hello
I just need 2 months of a sim to cover Italy, France, Austria, Germany, Belgium and Switzerland.
Phone calls, texts, some data but don't needs vast amounts.
Or do I try and get a french sim once out there?
Thanks

will you be able to top up from abroad (e.g. online)? The reason that I ask is that many of the network operators either already have or are in the process of abandoning "traditional" PAYG in favour of monthly allowances.
Afaik O2 (& MVNOs using it) still have free roaming in Europe, as do EE & Three PAYG. A quick check looked like Vodafone PAYG probably isn't going to be competitive.
You can also check the likes of RWG to see what they offer.0 -
Thank you, yes I'll have the ability to get it topped up if needed and its not the end of the world if it runs out.
O2 offered £30 a month which was more than I was expecting but I suspect they over estimated the data required, I'll check out EE tomorrow. Thanks again

Have a look at Lebara no minimum contract and includes roaming.0

I don't believe Lebara include free roaming in Switzerland which was one of the OP's requirements. They have free roaming to their Zone 1 and Zone 1EEA. Switzerland is in their Zone 3.

Be aware that many will have a "reasonable use" roaming data cap e.g. 12Gb of data - if you are planning on using lots (it doesn't sound like you are) try to use wifi instead.1
