Comparing Savings Accounts

Other than MoneySavingExpert, I would be interested to know which websites you find useful and perhaps more importantly... accurate, when attempting to compare all types of savings account in the UK?

Thank you in advance of your responses.

The Savers Friend site normally seems pretty up-to-date. It's a fairly basic site, but it's functional and refreshingly free of the sponsored entries you get artificially bumped to the top of the tables on other comparison sites.

I usually got directly to the owners of Savers Friend, https://moneyfacts.co.uk/savings-accounts/

I find Moneyfacts the best but remember to untick the quick linkd box to get the best rates. Avoid MSE and Moneysupermarket. Savings Champion is OK but never really up to date and they only show the top 5 and get confused between easy access and instant access and they have all variable rate ISAs in one table

Well... just a day later and it looks like Moneyfacts have done away with the Saver's Friend website entirely !

Yes, I spotted that. And with the way things are moving, I'm not sure a weekly email will suffice these days :D

Yes thought my laptop was having a wobbly. Very sad as do not like the Moneyfacts table half as much and need to remember to untick show quick links first to see proper rate ordered table.    Not in any way progress : (

In times of rapidly changing interest rates it is always useful to check a variety of sources in comparing savings accounts.
Some sites are slow at updating changes, depending on whether they get promotional rates or not!

Moneyfacts/Savers Friend -  useful advice from Malchester above re unticking box
Savings Champion - only top 5 shown
MSE - quite slow and limited in number
MSM - large range but some glaring omissions - click on 'see more accounts' to get fuller range
This is Money - quite slow at updating. No mention of Virgin M + saver!

'Top easy access savings discussion area.'   - Soulsaver posts regular and comprehensive updates

I am only interested in easy access interest rates currently.
