Will do. Thanks @Le_Kirk and @Coupon-mad0

Good afternoon, just wanted to say a big thank to everyone who helped me here. The information and advice you are giving is fantastic.
I have just come from my hearing and the case was dismissed. Gladstone did not attend the hearing or send a representative. I found this out after calling the court yesterday. They also did not send me their WS although the Judge did have a copy. The Judge did tell me the WS and evidence I had submitted was a bit of an ‘overkill’ and most likely would just be skimmed for information. Either way, thanks again for all the help.

Good stuff, well done.2

Brighton. @Coupon-mad will be pleased.
- All land is owned. If you are not on yours, you are on someone else's
- When on someone else's be it a road, a pavement, a right of way or a property there are rules. Don't assume there are none.
- "Free parking" doesn't mean free of rules. Check the rules and if you don't like them, go elsewhere

Very pleased! Which Judge?CappersM said:Good afternoon, just wanted to say a big thank to everyone who helped me here. The information and advice you are giving is fantastic.

ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST!
Well done for winning! One more thing:
We need you - as a genuine PPC victim of aggression, sharp practice and an 'extortion' attempt to add £70 - to respond robustly to the Public Consultation on the level of parking charges and banning of the false added DRA 'fee' that too many honest motorists currently fall victim to.
It will need consumer input (powerful voices) but change is afoot. It's taken about 5 years to get to this stage:
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6333036/breaking-news-government-has-announced-the-statutory-code-of-practice-and-enforcement-framework/p1
And then the industry threw victims' money at it and blocked and delayed it - explained here:

Please now Bookmark BOTH threads and set up email alerts on your posting profile, so that you get an email alert when we post there, as we will, once the Public Consultation opens - anticipated in a month or so.
We need people like you and your driving family & friends to respond in high numbers!
You have a personal story to tell about the culture of getting a roboclaim 'legal' firm to add a pointless £70 for their own profit, to be let loose to intimidate people. I am sure you want your voice heard to stop this happening again.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thanks @Coupon-mad - I will definitely bookmark those threads and keep an eye on. I had Judge Sullivan for my hearing. Keep up the fantastic work.1

I also have Gladstones trying to have me pay an illegitimate charge - this post is encouraging. Did you engage with them at all prior to the hearing? By that I mean, did you attempt to communicate your reasons for disputing the charge, with a request to stop further pursuit?
I have sent one email to them to try to resolve without court, explaining why the charge is invalid. They replied with very little substance. I'm considering very simply reiterating the request to desist and the primary reason.
Did you get anywhere with them in direct communication? You would think it would cost them to formally prepare and arrange a court date, which they don't even show up to...
Did you get any costs? I'm spending probably more time than the charge is worth, but it's now the principle of it.1 -
Also, would you mind messaging me your redacted WS from before? It seems I can't access the previous link. It seems I should start preparing.0

@Ricky116 - I had no direct communication with Gladstone, although, the PCN was from 2019 and at that time I did send a letter but no response up until the LBC. I did also request a SAR from UK Car Park Management Limited which they provided. Here is my redacted WS
