Virgin Media New Contract Accepted without my say-so

Curious how a contract can be changed despite a month remaining on the existing one.  Also its Status says Agreed where no such agreement was forthcoming.

How can they add another contract from the 19th of May for a minimum 2 months without notification  is beyond me.

Very common for contracts to be renewed or upgraded before the end date.
