HI received correspondence from HMRC detailing my last three years Simple Tax Assessment, and on the last relating to 6April 2020 to 5 April 2021 it stated that I had paid too much tax and HMRC was sending a cheque yo DONEC WOODS for the amount shown. I was unaware of this name, so contacted HMRC. I googled "DONEC WOODS" who are a financial management company in Cheadle Manchester. Afet a bit of digging, I found out they are related to JPS Financial Ltd, who were investigating PPI claims on my behalf. There investigation found nothing owed, but it appears they are no diverting my refunding tax amounts into there own account. BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!! I asked the HMRC to send me a copy of the instruction they received from me to do this and when I receive it I will contact JPS FInancial
