burning dvd film on nero

when burning a dvd on nero vision to watch a film on a normal dvd player i select the fastest option but it still takes the length of the actual film if not longer, what in a pc would speed this up?

its normally the speed of your dvd writer that makes it so slow however I would imagine that if your computer has quite low memory then taht would affect it too.0

it because you are conveting the film to DVD from what ever format it is (avi,divx,xvid ,vcd,wma,ect)and it can take hours to do,it do's the same on my superdooper pc then using nero vision.
there are better programs that do the same put faster and better.the one i us is not well known it's called svcd2dvd ,been using it for years put it's not easy to us or get working on some pc'sthere or their,one day i might us the right one ,until then tuff0 -
it can take an hour to encode the movie and another 30 minutes to burn it.
you need a very fast cpu and lots of ram to speed it up.
what spec is your PC?Get some gorm.0
