Best way to find solar installer in North West

Options
Starting to consider solar power install next year at some point and my facebook page seems to be inundated with solar panel 'sponsored links' however not knowing anyone who's had it installed and no one on our estate has it yet (only 24 houses so not huge), where is the best way to find installers and associated reviews before we ask for quotes?

Or can anyone recommend an installer in North West (West Lancashire)

Quote from their site says I might be best waiting a while

Please note that due to the energy price rises and the new VAT rules the industry is busier than ever. Stock is in high demand and unreliable supply and therefore we are not presently quoting for new installations. We are not operating a waiting list. We may be able to help with repairs and inverter replacements.

4 month waits are not abnormal now so take that into consideration when getting quotes, higher quotes with a quicker install date maybe worth thinking about.

Interestingly I had some quotes from a company up north called Contact solar that were quite good and they had no issue with my location further south.

I went local in the end though.

Contact solar sub it out, as do eco renewables for those outside their area.

Red electrical is no longer doing domestic installs. (although they did our existing 3.4kWh array)

Any other recommendations? I'm trying to get a quote off of eco renewables group atm myself for more panels, battery storage, and a diverter.

Atlantic Renewables installed my panels. Although in the NW, I'm the other side of Manchester, but I think they would cover West Lancashire. Though, when I last was in touch with them a couple months ago, they said they were very busy and had no install spaces left before December.
