lets have a piccy, together with all the cable that go into it if they are visible and a piccy of a makers name & specification plate would be good. it might be an isolating transformer but without more info it could be anything
its really difficult to guess what you might have without getting all the info up front. a bit like pulling teethNever under estimate the power of stupid people in large numbers0 -
This is some info on what the specs are for this.
For clarity - Mode 2 is with a controlling device (i.e. "Granny" charger) between the WallPod and the car, Mode 3 the WallPod contains the controller.WallPod:EV Ready
Specifically designed for new home builds, this unit is ideal for occasional EV charging in Mode 2 format, and doubles up as an outdoor IP65 rated domestic 13A EV-rated socket. Easily upgradable to a full Mode 3 fast charger.
A better description is in the following Rolec document:
https://04646a9cf351cc0d3888-b8b406...5e6f9fe84ee09512a833c25b0e8d85.pdf?1583856909
Note the type A RCBO as standard - @Jeremy Harris has correctly pointed out that this should not really be called a charge point with that protection but Rolec use the weasel wording of "Occasional Mode 2 EV charging" and the developer/agent probably incorrectly upgraded that in their description to EV charge point.
