Landlord asking for Electic Meter Reading?
hi i hope someone can help me, i live in a block of flats and my Landlord has asked for the Electric Meter Reading not any of the prepayment ones, just the one that isnt prepayment, what is this for and should i be worried? im probably worrying about nothing thanks ?:)

Why not ask him why he needs to know? If it's your bill, it's not really any of his business... I'm guessing you ARE paying the one that 'isn't prepayment' but, if so, why do you have two bills?#2 Saving for Christmas 2024 - £1 a day challenge. £325 of £3660

Is this a meter maybe for communal areas like staircases? I'm guessing the meter for your specific flat is a prepayment one?0

I'm guessing the meter for your specific flat is a prepayment one?I imagine the landlord just wants to submit the meter reading so they can pay their bill properly.Only other reason is to check the usage is reasonable for the bits it covers and nobody in the building has been diverting power for their own use...
