What a difference......

Like many on here, I had a terrible experience with PIP assessment - telephone assessment over 2 hours, awarded zero points, when I received my PA4 hardly anything I discussed with the HP was recorded, lots of anomalies, all my conditions not recorded, all my medication not recorded, assumptions made about me etc etc, the HP who carried out the PIP assessment did not work in the field where my conditions lie, so imo really did not understand my how my conditions affect me and the pain and distress I suffer - hence currently at MR with this at the moment.
ESA assessment - the HP worked in the field where I have my main condition, knew and could relate to everything we discussed, telephone assessment was approx 30 minutes, received decision today, placed in the support group.
What a difference dealing with someone who understands how your conditions affect you and doesn't compare you to being able to drive a car therefore you should be able to do everything else!

It may be worth mentioning that you have been placed in the SG for ESA in your tribunal assessment (if you need to appeal after the MRN).
PIP activities are obviously different to the WCA ctiteria, but nevertheless it's indicative that the PIP assessment may be flawed.

What was the reason for being placed in the SG ?

I had this exact statement in my WCA. They said as driving a car involves many physical and mental abilities I must be OK. I made it clear I don't drive when I can't as my conditions don't affect me every day.
