  • Thank you so much for your comment @pochase. It's all a bit of a mix up. I was with Npower for years who then got taken over by eon, decided to do a comparison here using the figures above which was based on npowers last year of usage. Then went to Utility Point who went bust. I can try to find Utility Points bills to check usage for when we're with them. I've only had one bill from edf. There is only myself and my disabled brother so having a rough idea of a monthly payment would be good. Once again thank you for the work you put in those figures.
  • I presume they are going off Utility Points figures. Joined EDF in Nov 21.
Electricity used between Nov and Feb 658 (meter reading 57806) Gas 459 (meter reading 18413) today's meter readings electric 58618 gas 18562.

Yes, that looks more in line with the quotes.

  • Thank you so much for all your time and trouble @pochase. I'm completely baffled by it all. Just want to make sure we get it right and don't end up in debt or overpaying. So there isn't much in it at the moment but if it goes up again in April we could be paying more. New boiler should be in by September.

Currently the prediction for April is not a raise but a small drop, after another 1% increase in January.

Of course only hopefully educated guesswork.
  • Thank you. You are a star.
