I am concerned to have received an email from Light in the Box this morning to say that my account (which must have been created when I ordered something from them last year) has been inactive for a year and they now intend to charge me a $1 per month unless I log into my account. I'm not sure they can and I will let my bank know. The email is written on a no reply email and gives another email address of system@email.lightinthebox.com that it says I should add to my address book. I'm loathe to email them in case it's some sort of phishing scam.

$1 per month? Are you in the USA?
It's just that this is a UK forum for queries on UK consumer law.0 -
Why not just go into the account and close it?0
