OVO Energy Better Smart 16 June 2022 ?
I'm with Octopus on a variable. There doesn't seem to me much on offer, via comparison sites.
I'm currently paying 1,191 per year. The best offer for me on energy club is 'OVO Energy Better Smart 16 June 2022'. My annual cost would go up to 1,625/yr. I've been pondering for days whether it's worth moving?
Has anyone moved to Ovo Energy Better Smart 16 June 2022?

I would have said not worth it, looks like tariff has gone up in price today making it even less worth it

Thanks for replying. I hadn't noticed the price had gone up. Thank you for helping me make up my mind. I'll stick with the variable.1

No you are stuffed Octopus don't offer a decent fix rate.
Eon and EDF are suggested as taking on new customers in the info below (the table)

Thank you for the link. It looks like it is just for existing customers only.Mstty said:No you are stuffed Octopus don't offer a decent fix rate.

"EDF says it's only available to existing customers on a fixed deal that ends in July." Eon states similar.0 -
Sorry to hear that but that is also the case I have found out with two relatives who are with Octopus and two people that have contacted me through this forum. Until a couple of weeks ago there were reports of some people defecting to EDF and getting a deal.pearl123 said:

I don't suppose you have an electric vehicle or are considering one? Octopus may put you on their GO tariff which is fixed for a year at approx 35p kWh with the benefit of 4 hours at 7.5p kWh. Maybe if you contact them, explain your frustration with their lack of a decent fixed deal like other suppliers and that you are considering getting an EV maybe just maybe they might put you on that deal?
